David Weissbrodt, a world-renowned worldwide human rights advocate and scholar who established the Law School’s Human Rights Center and served on the school for more than four decades, handed away peacefully on Nov. 11 at the age of 77. Their work not solely helps the occupation and society, but it is also one other draw for employers to come to Florida State. For nearly 15 years, the UBC Innocence Project has been investigating claims of wrongful conviction in British Columbia.
