People all over the world now keep pets at home, for companionship and unconditional love amongst other reasons. You will in all probability be required to fill out an application form and provide information that includes, complete contact information; type of housing you inhabit, rental or ownership; number and ages of children in your family; number and type of existing pets if any; previous experience with pets and lifestyle and expectations from the pet.

Our volunteer status does not make us your humble servants, and we require the same degree of respect from you that you want from us. Help us help you (and more dogs) by taking the adoption process seriously from the start, and remember that dog rescue is a team effort.

Most of us when coming to the point in our lives when we are ready to adopt that new ‘fur kid’ in our lives, research breeds that may fit well into our lives, and search for the certain age of pet and temperament that will fit well into our home or family.

Our mandate is to bring dogs into our rescue of all breeds, ages and needs and provide them with a safe foster home, all the vetting they need, as much food as they can eat, and all the love they deserve with the eventual goal of them being adopted to their forever homes-free of neglect, abuse, pain or suffering.

Companionship and bonding: adopting a dog means you have a companion who can go anywhere with you from the beginning, instead of waiting for her to grow up so you can take her further than the front yard and she can ride in the car with you instead of being left at home all the time.
